Transportation Services

ICRE-R provides transportation services for students enrolled in its program. ICRE-R currently has two school buses that are operated by two drivers currently on staff. These buses hold approximately six (6) to eight (8) wheelchairs each and 12 ambulatory customers.

There is also a smaller bus that holds approximately 2-3 wheelchairs and eight (8) ambulatory customers.

These three buses are used to transport students to school, medical appointments, shopping trips, community trips, and recreational activities. The students have been transported to such places as Special Olympics and overnight camping trips throughout the State of Illinois.
