Apartment Building
ICRE-R has a fully accessible, two unit apartment building on grounds, behind the main building. The apartments are 2 bedroom units, which are designed to be shared with a roommate, and have a complete kitchen, living room, and accessible bathroom. The building is secured with card key access, and linked to the main building's security personnel with an emergency alarm system. The grounds are also secured with a closed circuit video surveillance system.
ICRE-R's apartment building also serves as an educational tool to teach students about environmentally friendly technologies and uses "Green Building" practices, such as solar panels and rain barrel collectors. Solar lighting is also used along the pathways through the backyard area.
