Admissions

Student arriving for schoolIn order to participate in ICRE-Roosevelt's program, a student's primary diagnosis must be a physical impairment, and the student should have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) in place. The ICRE-R program focuses on transition-aged students (14 1/2 to 21). However, younger students may be accepted if they are able to benefit from the ICRE-R program. In addition, parents should review the parent expectations on the Parents page for additional requirements.

If these requirements are met, please fill out the ICRE-R Initial Contact Form, and mail it to the address at the top.

Once we receive your information, here is what you can expect:

  • The Admissions Office will contact you to verify that the potential student meets preliminary admission criteria, and if so, arrangements will be made for a facility tour.
  • At the tour, you will receive the application packet. An ICRE-R representative will provide instructions on completing the packet.
  • Once we have all the required information and paperwork, the ICRE-R Admissions Office will review the application, and if the student is accepted, an orientation date and start date will be provided, and the student may join the program.
